Using Native Plants in the Urban Landscape

April 16 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

Native plants and what they do for us.  Davey Rogner Stewards, the Community Gardens Manager for LEAP, and Sharon Burnham of the Master Gardeners will talk about the benefits of native plants in the urban landscape. We will also discuss how to plan and install a native plant garden.  This presentation has been cancelled and will be presented in the near future.

However, we will still be planting the native plants in the perimeter garden at Mountain View Community garden.   Come and get your hands dirty and learn about some the natives being planted.  April 16, 2022 from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
